Notre Dame Film, Television and Theatre Presents “Dawn’s Early Light,” a New Musical — YouTube Premiere
Set in the 1940s amid the flashing colors of the World War II home front and the swinging sounds of the Big Band era, “Dawn’s Early Light” follows the story of an Italian American family living in Buffalo, New York. By Solomon Duane ’24; directed by Matt Hawkins. Filmed in the Philbin Studio Theatre on March 4.

Southold Dance Theater Presents “Giselle”
“Giselle” is a tale of love, betrayal and forgiveness. A peasant girl with a heart condition falls for a noble count who is enchanted by her dancing. The girl dies from a broken heart. Scorned, her spirit seeks revenge by forcing him to dance himself to death. Her love overpowers her hate and she forgives him, allowing her spirit to finally rest. Fac/Staff: $30. Students: $18.

Spotlight Exhibit: “Hagadah shel Pesaḥ le-zekher ha-Shoʼah — Pessach Haggadah in Memory of the Holocaust”
Visit Rare Books & Special Collections to see an exhibit in honor of Holocaust Remembrance Day (Yom HaShoah). The exhibit presents three leaves from an illustrated edition of Pessach Hagaddah, a Jewish ritual text used during Passover family meal. It was commissioned in memory of 6 million Jewish people who perished in Europe during the Holocaust.

Closures, Limited Hours and Cancellations

Summer Hours at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center
Monday, June 5, through Monday, July 3: Ticket office windows will be closed. Phone calls will be taken Mondays through Fridays from noon to 5 p.m. Messages will be returned within 48 business hours.
Wednesday, July 5, through Friday, Aug. 11: Ticket office windows will be open Mondays through Fridays, noon to 5 p.m.
The ticket office will resume normal business hours on Monday, Aug. 14.
