Sacred Art Visio Divina
Visio divina, or “sacred seeing,” is an ancient form of Christian prayer in which we allow our hearts and imaginations to prayerfully and meditatively enter into an image. Join the Raclin Murphy Museum for guided sessions of visio divina with sacred art in the Mary, Queen of Families Chapel.
Tuesday, July 1; 11 to 11:30 a.m. in the Raclin Murphy Museum of Art

Bite-sized Art
So much art, so little time. Join in for this 15-minute lunchtime program, where a member of the museum’s education staff will facilitate a brief, interactive conversation focused on “hidden gems” from the collection. Not all pieces take center stage, so this is your opportunity to become more deeply acquainted with the collection.
Wednesday, July 2; noon to 12:15 p.m. in the Raclin Murphy Museum of Art

Art + Insight
Engage with art, connect with others, and explore new perspectives in Art + Insight, a program designed for adults 55+. Through guided close-looking exercises, lively conversations, and shared experiences, the group will discover fresh ways to engage with art while building community.
Thursday, July 3; 1 to 2 p.m. in the Raclin Murphy Museum of Art

Open Studio
Join in for Open Studio, a monthly drop-in program designed to help you connect with your creative side. This program encourages participants to engage—in guided or freestyle ways—with materials inspired by the themes, techniques, and media of a featured work of art. This summer, the group will focus on Earth Kid (Boy) by Yinka Shonibare.
Sunday, July 6; noon to 5 p.m. in the Raclin Murphy Museum of Art
