“Karaoke” (2022)

“Four Winters” (2022)
More than 25,000 Jewish partisans fought back against the Nazis and their collaborators from deep within the forests of WWII’s Eastern Europe, Ukraine and Belarus. “My Neighbor Adolf” (2022)
“My Neighbor Adolf” is a bittersweet comedy about a lonely Holocaust survivor who suspects his new German neighbor is Adolf Hitler. When no one believes him, he embarks on a mission to find the evidence. But, in order to gather evidence, he will need to be closer to his neighbor than he would like. So close that the two could almost become friends. In English, German, Yiddish and Spanish with English subtitles. Faculty/Staff: $6. Students: $4.

“Hummus Full Trailer” (2022)
Three very different shipping containers are mistakenly mixed up resulting in a scramble to find the correct trailer. The result is a colorful and hilarious story about a mix of folks who discover each other’s secrets all while trying to keep a wedding on track, hitmen away and flowers alive. “SHTTL” (2023)
“SHTTL” is the story of the inhabitants of a Yiddish Ukrainian village at the border of Poland 24 hours before the Nazi invasion. The set — a reconstruction of a traditional “Shtetl” — was to be turned into a museum following the film but has since been destroyed in the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. Faculty/Staff: $6. Exhibitions
MFA Thesis Exhibition
This annual exhibition consists of the culminating thesis projects created by the six students graduating in May from the three-year Master of Fine Arts program in the Department of Art, Art History and Design.

Spotlight Exhibit: “Hagadah shel Pesaḥ le-zekher ha-Shoʼah — Pessach Haggadah in Memory of the Holocaust”
Visit Rare Books & Special Collections to see an exhibit in honor of Holocaust Remembrance Day (Yom HaShoah). The exhibit presents three leaves from an illustrated edition of Pessach Hagaddah, a Jewish ritual text used during Passover family meal. It was commissioned in memory of 6 million Jewish people who perished in Europe during the Holocaust.

ND Band Commencement Concert
This performance marks the final time that senior band members will play at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center and is a preview of the band’s international tour program. Selections include wind band classics, orchestral transcriptions, jazz tunes and traditional Notre Dame favorites! Free but ticketed.

Awards and Competitions
The Tri-Military Commissioning Ceremony
The Tri-Military Commissioning Ceremony is the pinnacle event of a cadet’s ROTC career. During the ceremony, graduating cadets take the oath of office, which marks their appointment as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy or Marines. Maj. Gen. Austin Renforth, of the U.S. Marine Corps, will be the distinguished guest speaker. Free but ticketed.

Canvas Tip: Sending Accurate Grades to the Registrar from Canvas
Instructors can send final grades directly to the registrar’s system from Canvas, but there are a few things you’ll want to do to confirm that all grades are accurate and accounted for before that final submission.
Panorama Accessibility Checker Available in All Canvas Course Sites May 16
Providing all students with equal, complete access to learning content is invaluable. Starting Tuesday, May 16, the Panorama accessibility application will appear in all new Canvas course sites to provide instructors insight into how to make content easier for students to use.
Traveling This Summer?
Plan ahead before you leave on a trip to ensure you can access your ND email account and other ND services while traveling. There are several options in Okta that will allow you to successfully complete the two-step login process in the U.S. and abroad. Make sure your phone is enrolled, is in your possession and will not change when traveling outside the U.S.

Hesburgh Library – Summer Hours
Hesburgh Library will have summer hours through Sunday, Aug. 20. The library will be open 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Find all branch and service desk hours at https://library.nd.edu/hours.
Reminder: Dome Regilding
For the first time in nearly two decades, the Golden Dome atop the University’s Main Building will be regilded. The process of adding a new layer of gold leaf will occur over the course of approximately five months beginning immediately after Commencement Weekend. In addition, the upper tower of the Main Building will be cleaned and repainted. The project will begin with the installation of an extensive scaffold system on Monday, May 22, and is targeted to be completed by mid-October.
