Tech Tips, Tools and IT Maintenance

Canvas Tip: Sending Grades to the Registrar from Canvas
Starting this summer, instructors will be able to send grades directly to the registrar’s system from Canvas. Look for the Send Final Grades to Registrar link in your course navigation menu.

Canvas Tip: Make Sure You’re Using the Right Course Site in Canvas
If you’ve had the LMS Transition team assist you by transferring your content out of Sakai and into Canvas, your old content will be placed in an inactive course site with the prefix of “migrated.” Be sure you are using your official SU22 or FA22 course site so your students have access when you publish.

Canvas Tip: Canvas Access for Summer Courses
Unlike Sakai, Canvas limits student access to a course site if it is outside of a semester’s typical start and end range. If your course starts before Notre Dame’s normal summer session, you will need to manually adjust your course site’s term dates to allow student access.
