Dr. Stuart T. McComas, 82, died Saturday, October 4. He was Professor Emeritus in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 8 in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday at the Palmer Funeral Home – Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend, where a Rosary will be recited at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chiara Home, 1425 Clayton Drive, South Bend, IN 46614.
