St. Mary’s Road will be closed between Holy Cross Drive and Columba Hall from Tuesday, Aug. 24, through Tuesday, Sept. 7, to support the construction of a new parking lot in that area. Pedestrians and runners will still be able to walk on St. Mary’s Road and access the paths around both lakes. Drivers traveling to Columba Hall or Holy Cross Cemetery will be able to do so via Moreau Drive. See the map for road closure information and alternate traffic routes. (Click for map.)
Additionally, Holy Cross Drive west of the fire station will be closed from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Aug. 25. One lane of traffic will be open that day from noon to 5 p.m., so anticipate delays. During this time frame, Parking Services recommends entering and exiting campus via Dorr Road, just south of WNDU, or through the Main Gate on Notre Dame Avenue.
