As announced on December 17, 2021, after consulting with the deans and Academic Council, the Provost’s Office decided that, in order to balance the calendar, Tuesday-Thursday classes will end on April 21. Monday-Wednesday-Friday, Monday-Wednesday, and Monday only classes will meet on both Monday and Tuesday, April 25 and 26.
Last fall, Notre Dame announced that Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 17, would be recognized as a University holiday, with no classes scheduled. As a result, there was an imbalance in the previously published spring calendar of one less class day for Monday classes and one additional class day for Tuesday classes.
As originally scheduled, the last class day of the spring semester will be April 26. Reading days will take place April 27-28 and April 30-May 1. Final exams will be on April 29 and May 2-5. View the updated academic calendar.

Graduate business students have already received communication directly from the Mendoza College of Business regarding their class schedules.
