The Office of the Provost will continue its Connections Series next month with an opportunity to hear more about Notre Dame Learning on Monday, November 4. This series of events is specially designed for faculty, staff, graduate students, and postdocs to highlight the work of interdisciplinary institutes, centers, and other academic units, and build a culture of scholarly connection across disciplines, colleges, and schools.

November’s Connections Series event will feature Vice President and Associate Provost for Teaching and Learning Ron Metoyer, who will lead a discussion about various efforts in teaching and pedagogy as they relate to the strategic framework.

The session will run from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. Monday, November 4, in Room 215/216, McKenna Hall. The afternoon will also include the opportunity for Q&A as well as fellowship and conversation. Drinks and food will be served. To help the provost’s office plan accordingly, attendees are asked to RSVP for this event.

The Connections Series is devoted to promoting interdisciplinary community and collaboration at Notre Dame. Earlier in October, the Connections Series featured the Bioengineering & Life Sciences Initiative and its director, Paul Bohn. Plans are underway to continue the Connections Series in the spring semester to discuss more strategic framework–related activities and initiatives.
