Michael Welch, professor emeritus, sociology, died Saturday, July 25.
A visitation will take place from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 5, with a recitation of the Rosary following, at Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend. A funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, August 6, at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart at the University of Notre Dame.
