Library website has new features: Favorites and Checkout History

The Hesburgh Libraries is launching two new website features — Favorites and Checkout History — to meet the evolving needs of campus users. With a goal to improve research workflow and overall user experience, you can now manage your favorite databases on your library home page and opt in to save your checkout history.

Want to add your favorite databases to the library home page?

Want quick access to resource recommendations from subject librarians?

Wish your favorite databases were located in one place?

Get quick and easy access to your favorite and most-used databases by setting up your Favorites page. Go to library.nd.edu, log in and click the Add Favorites button. 

Follow the prompts for a simple set up: Select your subject areas to load resources recommended by subject librarians; add your favorite library databases; and select your preferred library location. Your Favorites will appear on the main page of the Libraries’ website when logged in.

Save Your Checkout History

Wish you could remember the name of that book you previously checked out? 

Spend too much time searching for an article you requested last year?

Want an easy way to export reference information to your citation software?

You can now combine all of your records from multiple platforms into one easy-to-access location. Go to library.nd.edu and log in. Then, go to My Account → Checkout History. Read the terms and click Opt-In to Save Checkout History.

By opting to save your checkout history, you’ll be able to see your borrowing record for books and articles, including interlibrary loan requests.
