The University of Notre Dame is a visionary trustee of the South Bend Regional Chamber, partnering with the chamber to advance the community. The SBR Chamber promotes business growth, in large part through relationships and access to resources. That’s where Notre Dame employees, come in.

University faculty and staff can build relationships in the community by attending chamber events. Many of the events are free, and range from morning mixers like Coffee and Conversations to late afternoon socials known as Business After Hours. Sprinkled throughout the year are networking luncheons with thought leaders, meetings with legislators, workforce events and member briefings.

Notre Dame employees can also take advantage of professional development programming, some offered by the SBR Chamber and others presented by member businesses. The SBR Chamber serves as a portal of networking, informational and professional development events.

For young professionals, ages 21-39, there’s the Young Professionals Network known as YPN South Bend. The program connects and empowers young professionals with professional development, social events and conversations with C-level leaders. Registration is open for the 2019 YP Summit on Thursday, Oct. 3.

University faculty and staff interested in regional data for their work may reach out to SBR Chamber staff for help. The SBR Chamber even creates or has access to popular reports, like the region’s Economic Profile and the Wages & Benefits Report. For more information, visit sbrchamber.com.
