Staff from the Dean's Office of the College of Arts and Letters recently completed a service project at St. Margaret's House, a day center in South Bend for women and children. About a dozen people participated, including Sarah Mustillo, the I.A. O'Shaughnessy Dean. They worked on projects that included preparing bags of toiletries for guests, sanitizing the toy area, and working in (and cleaning) the kitchen.

The dean's office has held annual service projects for many years, working with organizations such as the South Bend Center for the Homeless, Habitat for Humanity, and the Potawatomi Zoo. This is the second year in a row the office has served at St. Margaret's House.
