In November, Campus Dining conducted a double-blind coffee taste test at five express locations in O’Shaughnessy Hall, Eck Hall of Law, Mendoza College of Business, McCourtney Hall and Grace Hall. Guests sampled dark and medium/light roast coffees from six roasters and voted for their favorites.
In addition to scores from the tastings, Campus Dining considered the sustainable practices, distribution methods, preparation processes, program opportunities and pricing of each roaster. After careful deliberation, Paramount Coffee Company/Paramount Roasters was selected as the new coffee provider for Campus Dining’s express locations.

Paramount coffees will be phased into express locations beginning with Crossings Café in the Law School, which will offer Paramount’s full-flavored fair-trade organic Peruvian blend beginning Monday, Jan. 13. A variety of flavors including blueberry muffin, French vanilla, almond amaretto and others will soon join the lineup for guests who enjoy variety.
