During the 2022 Advent season, the Alumni Association, in partnership with the Office of Public Affairs and Communications, debuted a new version of its popular Advent reflection series, Sacred Stories of Notre Dame.
The 28-day video series allows Notre Dame alumni, students, faculty and staff to share their most sacred and meaningful moments, focusing on the deeply spiritual connections that have been made possible through Notre Dame. These stories ranged from life-changing experiences in the classroom and moments of stillness at the Grotto, to the power of family and unforgettable rectors.
Inspired by the University’s Catholic character, the campaign seeks to nourish the broader Notre Dame community through reflection in the days leading up to Christmas.
In 2022, these meaningful stories resonated with students, alumni and friends, regardless of faith tradition, providing a spiritual uplift to hundreds of thousands of Notre Dame community members.
